Coordination is key; the Wedding palettes we’re crushing on this Spring

There’s no doubt that the colour scheme is one of the biggest decisions when planning a wedding, because the palette sets the visual aesthetic. In this blog, we’ve selected some of our favourite wedding palettes for this season, to help you bring a little inspiration to your planning for the big day.

Refreshing Mint & Lilac

Pastel’s are in this season, and mint and lilac is one of our favourite pairings. There’s something about the cool light green, and understated purple shades that just work for weddings. We’re thinking bouquets with an array of subtle shades in them and pastel cupcake towers that look too good to eat. Mint and lilac are also versatile when it comes to bringing in other colours, baby pink or light yellow will pair effortlessly, helping you add a little bit more colour to your decor without any worry about matching. Similarly, you could bring some contrast to your palette with forest green or royal purple accents.

However you choose to style it, your wedding will look amazing in this pretty pastel palette. We know it can be hard to create perfect coordination when it comes to colour matching, so for adorable dresses that pair perfectly with our women’s bridesmaid range you can visit our Flower Girl Dresses Collection.

Dramatic Red and White

The contrast of rich red and dazzling white brings all the drama to your wedding aesthetic. It seems like a simple colour scheme, but little touches of coordination are easy to pull off with this colour combination. Classic red and white roses, red ribbon sashes, dark red table settings on a pure white tablecloth, there’s no such thing as too much when it comes to this striking combination. Make white your primary colour with red accents for a bright feel, or go for lots of red with white accents for a more dramatic flair, either way, red and white will make your wedding one your guests will remember.

Timeless Neutral Tones - Reference Image

The best thing about a neutral palette is that you can adapt it however you please. In our heads, this palette is all about light nudes, champagne tones, and bronze contrasts, but mixing in darker or brighter shades will change the whole feel of your palette. If you’re wanting to keep it understated, go for white as a base and keep everything matte and minimal when it comes to decor and bridesmaids. Alternatively, you could opt for a richer neutral palette, and add silky fabrics and gold accents for a more luxurious feel.

There’s no end to the elegant touches neutral palettes allow for. We suggest dried grasses as a chic alternative to traditional bouquets and floral decorations, and bronze lanterns as a charming alternative to floral centrepieces. However you choose to decorate, if you’re looking to dress your bridal party to match, our Champagne & Nude Bridesmaid Dresses have stunning styles in a range of neutral shades.
