We have had one hell of a year! Every time we reflect, we here at Chi Chi HQ can’t be alone in thinking this year’s New Year’s celebrations though different, are more significant than ever.
We won’t be celebrating in the same way, no clubs packed to the brim and first tube rides home at 7am for weary ravers. BUT, that doesn’t mean it can’t be more special than ever. We have spent more time at home in 2020 than we may have done since we were young kids too young to be out with friends celebrating. So let’s help you celebrate that, because if there’s one thing we know for certain. It’s that we all cannot wait to welcome in 2021.
Turn that living room upside down!
It is amazing what a few balloon’s and banners can do! Mix those metallics. Coppers, blacks, golds and silvers to get your home feeling like it’s time to celebrate. Is there any such things as too much sparkle when ringing in the New Year?
Did someone say, champagne?
It’s been a while since we’ve been on our tiptoes and had our elbows propped up on a bar trying to get the barman’s attention to order a round! Why not bring the bar vibes home for NYE and set up your own Bubbly Bar! Get the cocktail shaker out, print out the recipe for your fave cocktails to keep the party going all night long.

We can’t be the only ones who are sick of our wardrobes! Don’t overthink it, just wear what you want! We have a ton of options to help you out, whether you’re throwing a PJ party or going all out with a dinner party, check out some options below:
Make a meal of it!
Throw a winter wonderland themed dinner party! It’s your last chance of 2020! So get the family or flatmates together and celebrate with good food, home-made table settings and plenty of party poppers to go round. Treat yourselves with a take-out served on nice homeware or if you’re a dab hand in the kitchen, then pull out those culinary skills for the last time this year! Whatever you choose do, a girl’s gotta eat! So make a meal of it.
What do you wish for 2021?
Lots of us will be in that end of year reflective mood, starting to think about our hopes and dreams for next year. We might be more determined than ever given how restrictive this year has been in a few ways! Before the evening begins, put out a nice jar with blank cards or pieces of paper and invite everyone to write down a few of their goals for 2021. If you wish, you can save the cards and see how far you’ve come with your friends and family next year.
