5 new make up trends to try in Spring
There’s nothing like a new makeup look to shake off the winter blues and embrace those bright spring vibes. This season we’re all about glowing skin, shimmery lids, and embracing pastel colours, so we’ve rounded up our three favourite makeup trends to step up your Spring style.
Beautiful Blushes
Nothing says ‘I woke up like this’ like a rosy blush and this Spring we’re loving this fresh-faced look. We recommend a cream or liquid blush to make it easy to blend, and a shade that complements your skin tone; pink for cooler toned skin, or orange for warmer tones. For a natural look, start at the apple of your cheek and blend the blush back along your cheekbones. If you want to be a little more daring, blend upwards into your temples for a more dramatic effect, or add a little blush to the bridge of your nose for a sunkissed glow. However you want to wear it, there’s no doubt that blush is in this season and it’s here to stay.

We know we’re not the only ones who are guilty of being big fans of pink all year round, but there’s something about a pink lippy that brightens any cloudy day. Finding your perfect pink shade can be a struggle, so our tip is to combine two shades; a vibrant deep pink, and a more neutral pink nude. Put the deeper colour on the centre and inner edge of your lips and blend out with the neutral shade for a voluminous pout and subtle ombre effect. Pair with minimal eye makeup for an effortlessly fresh look.
Silver Shimmer
Everything that glitters is always on trend and we’re crushing on cool silver this season. We recommend a pigmented liquid eyeshadow for creating this show stopping look. Swipe it on your lids and paired with classic winged black liner to frame your eyes and step up your going out makeup. If you want to go even bolder with your look, blend a little silver along the top of your cheekbones and into your cupid’s bow for a holographic highlight effect.
