The top five autumnal events that you can’t miss!

Every year, around this time it becomes absolutely jam-packed with plans, ideas and adventures to be had. But it can be easily overwhelming trying to decide what to do, where to go and how to plan your time to tick all your pre-Christmas boxes.

Spooktacular scenes

We are very quickly approaching the spookiest weekend of the year, Halloween! If you do not fancy joining the crowds at Thorpe Park for Fright Night why not try heading to Tulley’s Shocktober Fest in West Sussex. The farm is transformed into various scary attractions to get you screaming! Whether you fancy the haunted hayrides, the chop shop, or wastelands penitentiary – there is something for everyone!

Pop on down to the pumpkin patch

Fun for all the family, and the perfect place to snap your last Halloween Instagram photo before we turn to the sparkly lights of Christmas! Head to York for Piglets Adventure Farm where you can pick pumpkins to take home and carve cute creations to decorate your creepy abode with. An activity that everyone can get involved with, just make sure you wrap up warm!

Royally creepy

Usually home to Earls and Countesses, Warwick Castle opens its doors every year to welcome all into its eerie world of ghosts, ghouls, wizards, and witches. The Haunted Castle boasts dungeons, mazes and even birds of prey are seen swooping through the dusky treetops to create an immersive experience that is worth the distance.

It’s getting hot in here

As soon as you’re done with being scared by clowns, zombies, and vampires, it’s time for Bonfire Night! Alexandra Palace in North London puts on an extravagant and mesmerising display of fireworks every year which are not something to miss! Once the display is over, head inside to the German Bier Fest where you’ll be entertained by Oompa Band and a Spice Girls Tribute band.

Sparkle from above

If you would rather stay in the warmth over the weekend of the 5th, rather than roughing it in the fields, school playgrounds and parks, why not head to your favourite London rooftop bar to spectate from above. Radio Rooftop on the Strand, is the classy option for keeping cosy but still being in the centre of the action, with a crisp glass of wine and delicious food to accompany the scenes.

Whatever you decide to do this autumn season, make sure you keep cosy in one of our brand-new coats which will have you snug as a bug whilst joining in with all the autumn activities!
