Picnic season has never been more eagerly anticipated, so we have put together an all-inclusive guide on how to make the most of Spring picnics in the park. We’ll be covering the best in spots in town, some quick and easy home recipes and even, what to wear! Don’t say we don’t spoil you!

What’s on?

Home to arguably the most iconic views of our fair city, Greenwich park has so much to offer aside from the breath taking scenes. After you’ve taken in the sights over a picnic, why not take a stroll around the rose garden, or play spot the deer in ‘The Wilderness’. 

Food and Drink?

There are a few café’s dotted around the park but plenty nearby if you’ve not come entirely prepared!

Regents Part (Zoo)

What’s on?

Regents Park is a stones throw from world famous London Zoo, which has now reopened! Yay! Take a gander down to the lake and have a ride on the boat to hire a pedalo, or book in to watch something in the open air theatre! The park also sports some really spectacular views, from Primrose Hill right down to Queen Mary’s Gardens. You’ll need a few trips to take it all in. 

 

Food and Drink?

If you’ve had enough of making your own food then you’re entirely spoilt for choice, there is everything from take away café’s to dine in restaurants in the park.

What’s on?

There are SO many activities that have reopened that we can now enjoy safely outdoors. There’s the Garden Centre, an adventurous Go-Ape obstacle course featuring a Tarzan style swing. A skate park, boating lake and once you’ve worked up an appetite, the Farmers Market on Sunday’s! To top it all off, the Alexandra Palace Theatre is now back open too!

 

Food and Drink?

There are ten on site food and drink vendors, you are absolutely spoilt for choice! Check out the Waffle Float if you’re in the mood for fresh coffee and hot waffles. Or traditional wood-fire pizza’s at Fuoco’s!
