Galentine's Day

We are of the mindset that with so much on hold last year, whenever the opportunity presents itself to dress up, have fun and celebrate, we’re going throw everything at it and embrace it!

Valentine’s Day is about love and love shared with friends lasts a lifetime, the most special kind of lasting relationship. So, even if you aren’t romantically involved, who says you shouldn’t celebrate?! And even if you are in a relationship, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be celebrating your pals too!

Here’s a few special activities to have fun with your plutonic nearest and dearest loves, even if it is for now still only virtual!

  1. Virtual group day-date.

There are SO many ways to get creative and connected online. Think about finding a recipe that you all love and cooking something sweet (or savoury) together! You can also take a look at Eventbrite who have taken their events online and by typing in Valentine’s, there are things to suit all budgets with some classes for free too! Think chocolate truffle making or homemade bouquet classes! Take a look for yourself over on https://www.eventbrite.com/

  1. “Guy’s, what are we wearing?”

While we are still spending so much time indoors, it’s important to take any opportunity not to wear joggers and ‘comfy’ clothes. We don’t know about you but we’re ready to be uncomfortable already! Think about adding another element of fun to your day and dressing around a colour theme? Whatever you settle on, for whatever time of day. We have you covered whatever your mood, from jumper dresses and cosy knits to dresses perfect for wearing around the house. Take a look here:

  1. Pick-me-up via post

If you’re the organiser of this little soiree, think about sending something small to your gang’s homes. There are plenty of small businesses still delivering. Or, Biscuiteers do the cutest personalised biscuits that would make for the scrummiest of little gifts, the perfect pick me up to make someone feel loved.

  1. Remote Games Night

We’ve had to get inventive recently in lockdown, but there are plenty of options to keep you guys entertained. It’ll be just like you’re at your local doing a pub quiz! Ok maybe not exactly, but it’s the closest thing we’ve got right now guys! Take a look at these options on TimeOut, if you haven’t played these yet then what are you waiting for!
